Krishna Subramanian, Co-Founder of Mobclix, appeared on Fox Business News today to provide insight into the Apple announcement that occurred this morning. Below are a few highlights, click here to view the full interview.
- Apple TV is Apple’s first attempt at ‘invading the living room’ and making it mobile. It’s all about content, consumption and creation. Creating content wherever you and connecting to it everywhere is what users want.
- This will be the first complete redesign for the iPod line but what’s interesting is it’s also the first time consumers will be able to connect across all devices. For example, being able to access photos on the iPhone, iPod, MacBook, and Apple TV allow users to easily and efficiently interact with that content.
- Big ticket item for Apple TV is being able to rent content rather than buying which allows you to save money and eliminate storage capacity issues that some ‘DVR’ type devices have.
