GZero is a 7-person team located in Sherwood Forest (home of Robin Hood), so you know they must be doing good stuff. GZero’s main product is VoCal, a voice reminder app that comes in a Free and Pro edition. The Free version is running Mobclix ads and is ranked much higher in the store. VoCal has served 22,527 voice reminder since launch about two weeks ago.
Stavros Alambritis, CEO, explains how they came up with VoCal: ”VoCal was developed out of the frustration of a fast paced life and not having the time to stop what you are doing and type in a calendar entry, todo or reminder into your iPhone. By using your voice and removing all the frills we believe we have created the ultimate way of making sure you never forget anything again.”
We were surprised at how much quicker it was to use the VoCal app than to set a reminder another way. Typing anything into the tiny iPhone keyboard can be a laborious task. The video below is a speed test GZero put together, comparing VoCal to other reminder apps…
