Piggy-backing off of UK’s celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s 60-year reign (Diamond Jubilee) , we wanted to know: how does mobile reign in the UK alongside Queen Elizabeth II?
Thanks to our mobile ad exchange, Mobclix, we were able to pull the numbers from the month of June to find out whether Android or iOS rules the kingdom, and which devices & mobile network operators (MNO’s) follow. - iOS dominates over Android in the UK, 62% vs. 38% respectively.
- Apple’s iPhone 4 & 4S generate the largest share of impressions at 74.3%.
- Everything Everywhere (comprised of T-Mobile and Orange) leads in-app ad impression share at 36%
