We recently worked with Wooden Labyrinth 3D, an award-winning and top-ranked iPhone game, to do an interactive ad campaign. We created interactive creatives that allow users to play a demo version of the game. The ad has the same interactivity and user experience as the real game. You can see a video of our own developer, Max Zamkow, trying out the ad, which he created. You can also see a screenshot of the ad below the video.
So how does it work? A small banner appears as you’re using another application. When you click on it a full working demo of the labyrinth game would pop-up (pictured below). After either winning or losing you would be encouraged to download the actual game. The ad resides in a UIWebView, which means no extra implementation is required to integrate the ad and the ad uses the accelerometer. If you’re interested in hearing more about interactive ad campaigns send us an email.
We’d also like to congratulate the team behind Wooden Labyrinth 3D for being our featured mobster! Wooden Labyrinth 3D is a great labyrinth app. They won the 2009 Apple Design Awards and Wooden Labyrinth 3D Lite is ranked number 3 in the App Store.
