It’s that time of year again–that’s right, developers, it’s time for IOSDEVCAMP2011! For those of you who dont know, iOSDevCamp is an annual, weekend-long, non-profit event for iOS developers. It will be held at the PayPal-eBay offices in San Jose, CA and will bring together a worldwide network of developers and publishers from July 15th-17th. By working together with various iOS developers, web developers, UI designers, entrepreneurs and testers for both the iPhone and iPad, iOSDevCamp will provide a forum for devs to team up and create, migrate, test and optimize new iOS apps within the 3 day event.
This event encourages solo & team development using both the native SDK and web standards. It is formulated in an “un-conference” or BarCamp-style, featuring content from the participants themselves, stories from various inspirational speakers, a hackathon contest, a cocktail mixer and more!
Speaking of the cocktail mixer…Mobclix is not only a proud sponsor of iOSdevcamp 2011, but will also be hosting the mixer on Friday night, from 7-9pm, along with AT&T Interactive–and those of you who attended WWDC or have seen the footage from the past years are well aware of how Mobclix can throw cocktail parties .
Adding to the mixer, our very own Tan Tmangraksat will be presenting a panel Q&A: Making Money Off of Apps – Friday, July 15th at 8:30pm in Fireside A. He will be covering the following questions/topics:
- What ad solution options does a developer have?
- What trends has the industry seen with in-app advertising?
- How do we use data to target users and increase in-app ad revenue?
- What kind of revenue are developers seeing from in-app advertising?
- Key things to remember across the lifecycle of your app (tips for week one and beyond)
- How to make your app attractive to advertisers
If you haven’t registered yet, be sure to do so here, and don’t miss out on one of the most exciting events for iOS developers there is! Take this unique opportunity to meet other developers and get a deeper insight into the iOS world. The Mobclix team looks forward to seeing you all there–at the mixer and at our booth!
