iPad 2 is Here!

Deloitte, International Accounting and Consulting firm, ran a study earlier this January and drew the conclusion that 2011 will be the year that “computers stop being computers”, stating that 50 percent of all “computing devices” sold in 2011 will be non-PCs (i.e. Tablets, Smartphones etc). Apple is starting off this ‘year of the tablets’ with a bang with the release of the iPad2 today!

We hit the streets of Palo Alto armed with Mobclix cookies and lots of questions. Take a look at what iPad enthusiasts standing in line at the Palo Alto Apple Store had to say.

Over 250 people in line, of those we surveyed 50…

  • Approximately 70% of the group own the original iPad
  • 20% of people will be purchasing 3G, of those 68% will be using AT&T & 32% for Verizon
  • The top three new features people are excited about are: Camera, Faster Speed & FaceTime
