Mobclix Index: 2011 Holiday Infographic

For our last infographic of 2011, we decided to focus on that special time of the year for many–the Holidays! Featured in GigaOM (Holidays Are Hot For In-App Mobile Ads), this infographic highlights key points of mobile in-app ad performance during the months of November and December 2011, and confirm what most people think: the year-end is the most ideal time for ad spots.

Incorporating in-app ad performance on tablets, in certain regions, and with highest user engagement, check out the infographic below, and what Kevin C. Tofel at GigaOM found most interesting.

 

Key Findings:

  • Total impressions per user on apps up 122% from November 2010.
  • U.S.: New York, L.A. & Dallas experienced most app usage during the holidays.
  • Samsung Galaxy tablet had the largest market share of in-app ads in November.
  • Full screen ad units have a $3.25 higher eCPM during the holiday shopping season.
