The Future of Mobile is Now

As a leader in the mobile space, we often get asked “Is this the year of mobile? Is next year?” We see more and more campaigns flowing through our ad exchange and more publishers joining our exchange every day. Mobclix and the industry as a whole have been growing at a phenomenal pace. Today, Google acquired AdMob for $750 million. This acquisition validates our belief that the future of mobile is here.

We’re excited to see big internet players looking to move into the mobile space. Mobile advertising is a multi-billion dollar industry and Google’s recent decision underscores the importance of this space. The merging of two ad networks to form a competitive angle doesn’t change Mobclix’s product position. Our value to publishers and ad networks as an ad exchange remains the same.

We can’t wait to see what 2010 will bring to the mobile industry. We expect more internet players looking to move into mobile, more brand name advertisers realizing the value of the industry, and more growth in this exciting space. Mobile is continuing to evolve every day, we’re looking forward to watching and taking part in all these changes. It is proving to be a dynamic industry, fueled by competitive spirit and technological innovation.
