Velti & Ford Take Bronze in the 2012 Smarties Awards!

It’s been an exciting week in New York for Ad Week, but nothing was more nail-biting than finding out where our campaigns faired for the Smarties Awards nominations. Would we place in more than one? In any? Or just go home with the bragging rights of making it to the finals?

Well, we’d like to proudly announce that our work with Ford on a Velti-built mobile website took bronze for “Best Mobile Website” in the 2012 Smarties Awards! Built by Velti on xHTML and HTML5, our joint objective with Ford was to encourage consumer interest in Ford vehicles, to drive awareness with potential customers and build loyalty towards the brand with existing Ford drivers.

The mobile-optimized site enables users to look up information on Ford vehicles, request a local quote, register to get updates and information on future vehicles, and much more–acting as the backbone of Ford’s mobile presence into which all other mobile activations, such as SMS and mobile media, can tie.

Key metrics resulting from Velti’s site optimization:
