Every year thousands of people convene in Austin, TX to celebrate the convergence of music, film and emerging technologies. Next year’s South by Southwest conference will be from March 8-17, and we’d LOVE another chance to bring mobile to the conference with our proposed panel for SXSW Interactive 2013!

We’ve teamed up with Groupon, CBS Interactive and Bunim/Murray Productions to tackle the topic of multiscreen experiences and how brands can leverage mobile to drive engaging campaigns. Check out the details below!

Consumers today are exposed to more media than ever before–and the increased adoption of smartphones and tablets is driving the continued exposure. Televisions and desktop computers, once the undisputed kings of content, are now often accompanied by smartphones, tablets and laptops. In today’s world, consumers watch TV while simultaneously playing on their smartphones or tablets, immersing them in a multiscreen experience that allows them to engage with brands on an entirely new level. Brands are eager to use these new opportunities to communicate with consumers, but are consumers really listening?

 

This panel will explore how today’s most innovative brands are embracing the multiscreen experience to effectively communicate and connect with consumers in meaningful ways that grow not only their brands, but their bottom line. There are many screens out there that customers own, and we will find out which device is “king” and which one is most effective for engaging customers. We will also discuss what the future holds as advertising starts to look more like entertaining content and less like marketing messages.
